- Crochet hook, P 11.50mm
- PremierYarns Craft-Tee, Light Blue Shades or yarn of choice (4 skeins)
- Martha Stewart Crafts, Extra Soft Wool Blend yarn, Winter Sky (1 skein)
- Red HeartSoft yarn, Light Gray Heather (1 skein)
- BernatSatin yarn, Banana (1 skein)
- Scissors
- Yarn needle
- Measuring tape
- Piece of cardboard
DIRECTIONS: Crochet Rug Pattern:
Chain 8, sl st into first chain to create ring.
Row 1: Ch 4 (counts as first dc and ch 1). *dc into ring, ch 1. Repeat from * 11 times. Sl st into third ch of ch 4 to close.
Row 2: Ch 4. *2dc into ch 1 space of previous row, ch 1. Repeat from * around. Sl st into third ch of ch 4 to close.
Row 3: Ch 3. *2dc into ch 1 space, dc into next ch 1 space. Repeat from * around. Sl st into top of ch 3 to close.
Row 4: Sc where connected previous row. *Ch 6, skip 2 dc, sc in next dc. Repeat from * around. Sl st into sc to close.
Row 5: Sl st in next 3 ch, sc into space created by ch 6. *Ch 8, sc in ch 6 space. Repeat from * around. Sl st into sc to close.
Row 6: Sl st in next 4 ch, sc into space created by ch 8. * Ch 8, sc in ch 8 space.. Repeat from * around. Sl st into sc to close.
Row 7: Sl st into ch 8 space. Ch 3, 5 dc into ch 8 space, ch 1, *6 dc into next ch 8 space, ch 1. Repeat from * around. Sl st into top of ch 3 to close.
Row 8: Ch 3, dc in next 5 dc, 2 dc in ch 1 space, *6 dc, 2 dc in ch 1 space. Repeat from * around. Sl st into top of ch 3 to close.
Row 9: Ch 3, dc in each dc around. Sl st into top of ch 3 to close.

Row 13: Sl st into next ch 2 space, ch 3, 2 dc into space, ch 3, *3 dc into ch 2 space, ch 3. Repeat from * around. Sl st into sc to close.
Row 14: Ch 3, dc in next 2 dc, 2 dc in ch 3 space, *dc in next 3 dc, 2 dc in ch 3 space. Repeat from * around. Sl st into sc to close.
Row 15: Ch 3, dc in each dc around. Sl st into top of ch 3 to close.
To create the tassels:
Make 16 tassels:
Cut a piece of cardboard 9” x 4”. With the Winter Sky, Light Gray Heater, and Banana yarns, wrap around the longer length of the cardboard 10 times and cut yarns. Carefully slide the yarn off the cardboard. Tie a 6” piece of Winter Sky yarn around the middle of the yarns and then fold the yarns in half. Tie another 6” piece of Winter Sky yarn around the folded yarns, just below where the yarns are folded. Grab the folded yarns and cut off the looped ends.
Tie the tassels to the rug, each approximately 7” apart.
