Classic Crochet Thread, Size 10: 1 ball 401 Orchid Pink Susan Bates Crochet Hook: 2.25mm [US B-1] Stitch markers (optional), yarn needle GAUGE: Rounds 1-5 measure 4″ (10 cm) across. CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size hook to obtain the gauge.

Doily measures 14″ (35.5 cm) in diameter.

Note Doily is worked in joined rounds from the center out.

Ch 10; slip st in 1st ch to form a ring.

Round 1: Ch 3 (counts as 1st dc here and throughout), 25 dc in ring, join with slip st to 1st dc – 26 dc.

Round 2: Ch 3, *(dc, ch 3, dc) in next dc, skip next dc; repeat from * around to last dc, (dc, ch 3) in last dc, join with slip st to 1st dc – 13 (dc, ch 3, dc) groups.

Round 3: Ch 3, 3 dc in next ch-3 space, *ch 2, 4 dc in next ch-3 space; repeat from * around, ch 2, join with slip st to 1st dc – 13 4-dc groups, 13 ch-2 spaces.

Round 4: Ch 3, dc in same st as join, dc in each of next 2 dc, 2 dc in next dc, *ch 2, 2 dc in next dc, dc in each of next 2 dc, 2 dc in next dc; repeat from * around, ch 2, join with slip st to 1st dc – 13 6-dc groups, 13 ch-2 spaces.
